RAM - more than just an acronym!

And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered instead of his son. So Abraham called the name of that place, “The Lord will provide;” as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”

When we were in the praying stage of our ministry, we were throwing out different ideas when the name Romero Adventures & Ministries was thrown out forming the acronym of RAM. We both instantly knew that we hand landed at the right place. But beyond just the acronym, we knew it had a deeper meaning. The foundation of our ministry name would be a declaration that if you are obedient to God’s calling for your life, He will provide. So, at the beginning of our ministry, we are standing on big dreams, big plans, and big faith. We have committed to doing our part of working hard to fulfill what we believe is our purpose in this life while trusting the Lord to provide the resources we cannot!

In the summer of 2024, we took a trip to Garden of the Gods, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Badlands, and Black Hills. While pulling into Garden of the Gods, I jokingly said that if this ministry was God’s will for us, we would see a ram stuck in a bush. As we began to enter the parking lot, I looked to the right and immediately saw a ram perched high on a rock. If that wasn’t confirmation enough, the ram turned its head and looked right at us. I looked to the right of the ram and noticed it was resting right next to a bush. From that moment on, we knew for certain this was our calling. We have not questioned it once since!
